Through watching Comedy Central, numerous Pro-Ts found out from commercial previews that Mr. T was soon guest starring on The Daily Show. Fortunately, Dstln and Mamlambo were able to view the show, although there was no chance for pictures due to unfortunate timing on the reruns.
Mr. T's guest appearance on The Daily Show was basically a segment about his ongoing legal battles with Best Buy. The details of the lawsuit can be found here (initial lawsuit links provided by VanRoosta, but those pages have since been purged). Basically, that famous commercial consists of some slow pudgy guy beating up Mr. T in Rocky III. There are many things wrong with that:
1. Mr. T got hit. Mr. T only gets hit when he wants to get hit, and that's when getting hit gets him money. Although most blows likely do no damage, it still looks foolish to get hit. And Mr. T's no fool.
2. Of all the people in the world, they chose a weakling who would never be able to hurt Mr. T in the real world. In fact, they'd probably run away when faced with the real deal.
3. The guy in the commercial was shown kicking Mr. T. Dstln was shocked and said "You can't kick in boxing!!" when he saw that event. To kick in boxing would be an automatic penalty, but the referee was shown clearly on the screen allowing the kicking to proceed. Utterly ridiculous.
4. That slow pudgy guy's a sucka, and will be added to the list of suckas soon. He is not a foo, since T said it himself during the interview- "Best buy is not a foo, but they did a foolish thing." So the only other option is sucka.
Basically, the humorous interview just reiterated that the commercial was absurd and everyone who saw it was immediately angered by it ridiculous nature. When asked whether the commercial was jibba or jabba, T replied "Jibba" Let's just say that Best Buy and that slow pudgy sucka better watch their jibba real soon if they don't want a trip to the moon.
